Tissot introduces the Sea-Touch watch

For us land lubbers, any old watch will do. But if you’re setting out for the high seas (or just wandering along the coastline at Brighton or Blackpool), the Tissot Sea-Touch watch might well be more suited.

In truth, it’s not a bad bet for an everyday watch, packing a pair of traditional hands, an alarm, a perpetual calendar, digital chronograph and two time zones. But if you’re up for adventure on the high seas, the Bond-like features of the Sea-Touch really comes into their own.

Use the touchscreen interface to access specialist features including a diver’s log book (recording your previous dives), dive depth and speed readout, a thermometer and a compass. Of course, it’s also watertight (up to 200m) as well as being shock-resistant. And if you’re wondering how you read the dial in the murky depths, well, a backlight takes care of that.

Available now in various colour combos, you can pick up a Tissot Sea-Touch from £610.
